Learning Epicurus Through Lucretius¶
The purpose of this course will be to study Epicurean philosophy in the same order and manner of presentation as recorded in Lucretius' "De Rerum Natura."
When this course is complete, the student will have gained a familiarity with Epicurean philosophy from the viewpoint in which it was presented in the ancient world, rather than simply from a modern viewpoint as to what aspects are significant.
Course material will include the discussion of each section of the poem as conducted on the Lucretius Today Podcast.
